For Agniveer Tradesmen 8 th pass: 17½ – 21 Years
Age relaxation is admissible as per rules

Qualification

Candidates Should Posses 10TH, 12TH, ITI Pass.

Height, Chest & Weight Criteria

Agniveer General Duty: Height – 166 cm, Chest – 77 (+5 CM expansion)
Agniveer Technical: Height – 165 cm, Chest – 77 (+5 CM expansion)
Agniveer Office Assistant / Store Keeper Technical: Height – 162 cm, Chest – 77 (+5 CM expansion)
Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass (Dresser, Chef, Steward, Washermen & Support Staff (Equipment Repairer)): Height – 166 cm, Chest – 77 (+5 CM expansion)
Agniveer Tradesman 8 th Pass (Mess Keeper and House Keeper): Height – 166 cm, Chest – 77 (+5 CM expansion)

Pay Scale

AGNIVEER enrolled under this scheme will be paid an AGNIVEER package with a fixed yearly increment.
In addition, Risk and Hardship Allowances (as applicable in Indian Army), Dress and Travel Allowances will be paid.
1st Year: 30,000/-
2nd Year 33,000/-
3rd Year 36,500/-
4th Year 40,000/-

Recruitment Process

i. Recruitment process will be conducted in two phases.

ii. Phase I will be Online Common Entrance Exam at Computer Based Test Centres allotted to the candidate and Phase II will be Recruitment Rally by Army Recruiting Offices at Rally Venue.

iii. Recruitment Rally: Candidates will be tested as stated below during the Phase II

Procedure for Online Registration

Online Registration (submission of application) will commence from 12 March 2025 to 10 April 2025 (Dates are subject to change and candidates are advised to follow the same on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
All candidates to log in to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status and create their profile. Candidates should fill in Highest Educational Qualification during Registration and Education Qualification mandated as per category applied for during Application stage.
Duplicate/ incomplete/ erroneously filled application will be rejected.
Candidates are required to have an active email & mobile number which will be used for further communication.
Candidates are required to fill in their correct height (upto millimeter resp) as per category applied for, region based physical measurement standards, as well as special relaxations in height as laid out in www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Candidates who fill wrong height and weight or produce bogus / unauthorized certificate for seeking relaxation in physical measurement standards are liable for cancellation of candidature during Phase-II (Recruitment Rally).
Candidates must indicate five choices of the exam centre. All possible effort would be made to allot exam centre based on choice made by the candidate.
Exam centre can be allotted outside of the choice made by the candidate due to administrative restrictions.
Animated videos ‘How to Register’ and ‘How to Appear for online Common Entrance Exam’ are available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in (JIA).
Candidates are advised to upload only recent photograph on JIA website. In case the photo does not match the face of candidate, the candidate will not be permitted to appear for any test.
